Kellyanne Conway recently joined Chuck Todd on ‘Meet The Press’, where they discussed the inauguration, Sean Spicer’s first press conference as Press Secretary, the “Women’s March” and the comparisons in crowd sizes between Trump’s and President Obama’s inauguration. At mark 4:20, Conway and Todd spar back and forth on a number of issues including “alternative facts” which has the internet GOING IN!

ANYWAY…………………

Let’s point out alternative facts that PROVE Trump is unfit as President of the United States!

I’ve compiled a list of Trump’s most infamous quotes AKA “alternative facts” to back up this claim.

AF: “Our great African-American President hasn’t exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore.”

Just a Fact: The fact that Trump had to point out President Obama as an African-American proves that he has racist tendencies.

AF: “Number one, I have great respect for women. I was the one that really broke the glass ceiling on behalf of women, more than anybody in the construction industry.”

Just a Fact: 1…If Trump had respect for women, he wouldn’t support “grabbing them by their pussies”.

2…Trump has had little to no effect on the construction industry, PERIOD. In fact, women in the construction industry still suffer from unequal pay, as does most occupations.

AF: “I love Hispanics!”

Just a Fact: This is equivalent to,”Happy Black History Month! The best fried chicken is made at Trump Tower Grill. I love Blacks!”
So yeah…not only is this insulting but let’s not forget, this is coming from a man who once called Latino immigrants “rapists” and “killers”. Trump also said his followers were “passionate” after being told two men beat a Hispanic man in his name during his campaign run.

AF: “Let’s Make America Great Again!”

Just a Fact: America hasn’t been great for all Americans for a long time.

AF“We will build new roads and highways and bridges and airports and tunnels and railways all across our wonderful nation. We will get our people off of welfare and back to work, rebuilding our country with American hands and American labor.”

Just a Fact: Trump could actually make all of that happen with the money he could take away from these 17 federal agencies and programs.

AF: We must speak our minds openly, debate our disagreements honestly, but always pursue solidarity. When America is united, America is totally unstoppable.”

Just a Fact: At a December 2015 rally in Charleston, South Carolina, just a few days after the San Bernardino shooting, Trump told thousands of supporters that he’s calling for a complete and total shutdown of Muslims entering the United States. He wants to so that “the country’s representatives can figure out what the hell is going on.”———————————–So much for solidarity.

AF: Betsey DeVos (Trump’s pick for Secretary of Education) is a brilliant and passionate education advocate who has the leadership ability to break the bureaucracy that is holding our children back.”

Just a Fact: This 19-minute video of the Senate Confirmation Hearing For DeVos proves that she knows very little as Secretary of Education.

AF“I turn on one of the networks, and they show an empty field,” Trump said at a speech Saturday afternoon at the CIA. “I’m like, wait a minute. I made a speech. I looked out, the field was, it looked like a million, million and a half people.”

Just a Fact:

AF:????????……………………Oddly enough, I couldn’t find any lovable quotes from Trump about his wife, Melania. However, the images below definitely affirms that Trump’s treatment of his wife publicly is questionable, at best!

Just a Fact:

On CNN’s Don Lemon Tonight, Marc Lamont Hill exchanged words with Bruce Levell over Trump using black celebrities to gain Black America’s trust.

It was a bunch of mediocre Negroes being dragged in front of TV as a photo op for Donald Trump’s exploitative campaign against black people.” Hill says to Levell.

In Hill’s defense, he was making a distinction between the black celebrities Trump parades in front of the cameras like a comedian, an athlete, and a rapper, as opposed to much more qualified analysts like Michael Eric Dyson and Cornel West, who can REALLY challenge Trump’s views.

Watch the exchange below.

As most of us get excited about 2017, there’s one thing we’ll miss in the New Year…The Obamas in The White House.

President Obama reminds us of how much we’ll miss him in office with a touching farewell message posted on social media.

My farewell address
In 1796, as George Washington set the precedent for a peaceful, democratic transfer of power, he also set a precedent by penning a farewell address to the American people. And over the 220 years since, many American presidents have followed his lead.
On Tuesday, January 10, I’ll go home to Chicago to say my grateful farewell to you, even if you can’t be there in person.
I’m just beginning to write my remarks. But I’m thinking about them as a chance to say thank you for this amazing journey, to celebrate the ways you’ve changed this country for the better these past eight years, and to offer some thoughts on where we all go from here.
Since 2009, we’ve faced our fair share of challenges, and come through them stronger. That’s because we have never let go of a belief that has guided us ever since our founding — our conviction that, together, we can change this country for the better.
So I hope you’ll join me one last time.
Because, for me, it’s always been about you.

#CallYoPresident is BY FAR the funniest hashtag of 2016, thanks to Troy Brown.

Brown’s Facebook post about leaving a stranded Trump supporter in the snow has gone viral.

He posted the image of the car stuck in the snow with the caption, “I was going to help her but she has a #Trump sticker on her car #CallYoPresident.”

Read post below!

The viral post, which was shared over 4,000 times, sparked support from some and outrage from others. Those that are outraged claims Brown was wrong for leaving the woman.
Brown’s response included a list of “resources” for Trump supporters when in need.

“1. Yo president, 2. Exxon Mobil CEO 3. General Flynn’s son 4. The gunman at Comet pizza in D.C.”

Brown stated that he does not support “Trump supporters, rapists, trafficking, or murderers”.

“I believe in peace and harmony. Trump didn’t display that.”

I promised myself that after my open letter to Tomi Lahren over her commentary about the Beyonce Superbowl. However, after Trevor Noah’s epic READ of Tomi, I had to reconsider.

Lahren recently visited Noah’s  for an extended interview on ‘The Daily Show’ to discuss her views on the Black Lives Matter Movement, Colin Kaepernick, and more! Their conversation was entertaining and intriguing, to say the least. I felt like Trevor’s proud sister for asking necessary questions and pulling Lahren’s false narratives from under the rug.

You have to give it up to ole’ girl for always sticking to her views…no matter how clueless she sounds.

After Apple Music released the promo for  Hillary Clinton’s interview with Mary J. Blige, a sea of critics on social media felt the promo of a serenading Mary  was “cringe-worthy” and “Awkward”.

In case you’re wondering how this interview came about, you will see in the beginning of the video where Blige says when she met Clinton and performed at the 2016 Democratic National Convention, she was inspired to interview the secretary and presidential candidate for the debut episode of her new show, ‘The 411 with Mary J. Blige’.

Mary gets the 411 from Clinton on issues regarding race, police brutality, and other issues African-Americans face.

Get into the interview below and maybe it will make sense to you why Mary sang lyrics to Bruce Springsteen’s song “American Skin (41 Shots)”.

Remind me to NEVER visit this North Carolina Church!

CNN recently interviewed Pastor Thomas Rodgers Sr and his daughter, Katrina, of  Antioch Road to Glory International Ministries on their endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Via Black America Web:

Every last member of a black church in Charlotte, North Carolina has thrown support behind Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, believing the initiatives of his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton are “reckless” and actually hurt the very community the church serves.

“It had a rippling effect,” Katrina Rodgers of Antioch Road to Glory International Ministries told WSOC TV of Clinton’s husband President Bill Clinton’s policies. “Not only did the prison population increase but it brought about division in our homes.”

“Providing jobs would automatically have a rippling effect on the economy which would have effects on crime rates which would have its effect on families,” Rodger said of Trump’s proposals.

Church members held a town hall Sunday with headliners such as Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, and his standout on “The Apprentice” Omarosa, who is currently his Director of African American Outreach.

It’s been reported that Justin Bieber was offered 5 million dollars to perform at the Republican National Convention. Justin’s manager, Scooter Braun, and Cleveland Cavaliers player Lebron James, reportedly encouraged Justin to turn down the offer.

Via The Score:

The offer to perform at a venue adjacent to the contentious Republican National Convention (RNC) was seen as a political event despite claims that it had no affiliation with the GOP’s festivities. Those claims appear false, with TMZ reporting that the event was indeed bankrolled by GOP donors, which prompted the singer to seek advice from LeBron and his manager, Scooter Braun.

Braun, who is a vocal supporter of Democratic Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, had threatened to quit as Bieber’s manager had he decided to go through with the offer.

Reports suggest that Braun’s initially suggested Bieber hang ‘Black Lives Matter’ banners at the event before donors maintained that he could perform only with banners that read ‘All Lives Matter.’

Braun’s approach then followed a more direct route, with the manager who discovered the Canadian in 2007 threatening to quit should Bieber decide to perform.

Bieber’s people then contacted representatives for LeBron James.

LeBron was also rumored to attend an event in Cleveland that was not affiliated with the RNC but ultimately rejected the offer.

Reports suggest that Bieber and LeBron discussed the invitation, with the four-time MVP allegedly talking the 22-year-old pop star out of a decision that could have amounted to career suicide in light of Donald Trump’s dubious platform.

Presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, ended the DNC with an admirable speech and an acceptance of the Democratic Nomination. Clinton’s acceptance is history in the making, as she becomes the first woman EVER to be chosen to run for the highest office in the land by a major party in the United States. Watch the full speech below!

President Barack Obama gave such an emotional and powerful speech last night at the Democratic National Convention. He left democrats in tears and probably left Trump pulling off his hair piece!

He addressed the progress that’s been made since he’s taken office, the importance of voting, and why he’s proud to “pass the baton” to presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton.

The Democratic National Convention kicked off in Philadelphia today. What better way to start opening day than with a performance from one of the most successful groups of our time? A group that happens to be from the City of Brotherly Love!

The trio, BoyzIIMen, performed their megahit “Motownphilly” from their ‘Cooleyhigharmony’ album, helping to set off the great energy expected throughout the Wells Fargo Center.
