After Apple Music released the promo for  Hillary Clinton’s interview with Mary J. Blige, a sea of critics on social media felt the promo of a serenading Mary  was “cringe-worthy” and “Awkward”.

In case you’re wondering how this interview came about, you will see in the beginning of the video where Blige says when she met Clinton and performed at the 2016 Democratic National Convention, she was inspired to interview the secretary and presidential candidate for the debut episode of her new show, ‘The 411 with Mary J. Blige’.

Mary gets the 411 from Clinton on issues regarding race, police brutality, and other issues African-Americans face.

Get into the interview below and maybe it will make sense to you why Mary sang lyrics to Bruce Springsteen’s song “American Skin (41 Shots)”.

Watching the first presidential debate last night was more than cringe-worthy, it was a two-hour reminder of how much trouble this country could be in, especially if we don’t go to the polls. We were watching the battle between two unpopular presidential candidates; our voting decision will be solely based on either voting on the “lesser of two evils” or voting green! Although, Clinton did win me over with a few pointers.

By the time the debate was over, I was inundated with confusion and STILL needed many questions answered.

  • Why did Lester Hold do a piss-poor job as the moderator?
  • Why did Trump’s hair look like he rode a motorcycle on his way to the venue?
  • Why was Clinton looking like a BOSS-MISSES in that red suit?
  • Why did Trump go over the 2-minute limit every time he was told he only had two minutes?
  • Trump pretty much exposed his incompetence as President of the United States. Do you think that’s gained more votes for Clinton?
  • Why didn’t Clinton check Trump for all his interruptions? I think we all agree that Holt couldn’t do his job….
  • Why are we still waiting on an answer from Trump on the solution to racial division?
  • Why did Trump remind me of the class clown who needs attention badly?
  • Why did we get pumped about the”fact-checks”?
  • When are we gonna see those tax returns?
  • Who told Trump he has better temperament?
  • Why is “Stop & Frisk” in America the dumbest plan ever?
  • Why did Clinton smile everytime Trump went below the belt?….:-)
  • Why did Trump change his mind about running for president? Just a few years ago, he said in an interview that he wasn’t interested….
  • Are we wondering if China is on the phone with someone in Trump’s camp?

To be continued….

Presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton, ended the DNC with an admirable speech and an acceptance of the Democratic Nomination. Clinton’s acceptance is history in the making, as she becomes the first woman EVER to be chosen to run for the highest office in the land by a major party in the United States. Watch the full speech below!

Geneva Reed-Veal, the mother of Sandra Bland, joined Hillary Clinton at her recent Chicago campaign. Bland died in police custody in Waller County, Texas, three days after she was arrested by a state trooper during a routine traffic stop. According to USA Today, Clinton paid tribute to Reed-Veal, who has become an outspoken advocate for police reform since her daughter’s death, and promised to take up the cause of police reform if elected.

We owe it to them to reform police practices to ensure that…no one is pulled over in their car for no good reason and then thrown into a jail where she’s found dead,” Clinton said. “We owe it to the families of young men like Laquan McDonald and the others whose names we know all too well— Walter Scott, Freddie Gray, Tamir Rice, so many others.”

What happens when conspiracy theories turn out to be fact?  In politics, it becomes a bombardment of lies and cover-ups which often come out in the wash.

In Hillary Clinton’s capacity as a government official, her e-mails are sometimes considered “classified”. It would be illegal for her to send or received such classified e-mails over a private account.  We’re not just talking about removal from office – we’re talking about jail time.  These classified e-mails often refer to (but not limited to) e-mails which are highly sensitive to national security, may expose agents out in the field, or may include information which may divulge national secrets.

Hillary Clinton maintained a private e-mail server that she chose to use for all of her e-mails, as opposed to one for private e-mails and one for business emails.  Her e-mail accounts came under scrutiny (most notably) during the Benghazi Hearings conducted by Republican Trey Gowdy.  For a very long time, it had been speculated that the Republicans would do whatever they can to discredit Hillary Clinton, hopefully disrupting her run for President in 2016.  Those speculations are no longer mere speculations.  Trey Gowdy chose an e-mail from her account that he had written to show that Ms Clinton had violated the law by having classified information on a private account.

In this e-mail, Gowdy redacted (covered in black ink) the name mentioned in the e-mail.  It was revealed by the CIA that THE E-MAIL IN QUESTION WAS NOT CLASSIFIED AND SHOWED ABSOLUTELY NO REASON TO HAVE BEEN RADACTED.

Ms Clinton turned over more than thirty-thousand (30,000) emails from her account, and deleted about the same amount, none of which were classified.  Here we are months later, her part in the Benghazi Hearings done, and there is absolutely no mention of Trey Gowdy telling an outright lie, falsifying records, and deliberately altering Ms Clinton’s emails in an attempt to de-rail her campaign.

This is just one blatant way in which the Republican Party will do and have done anything within their power to unseat the Democrats.  Do we let it continue?  Do we read the reports and let it go?  Do we continue to “not vote” and let Republicans remain in control of both The House and The Senate?

No!  We get out to the polls and remove them!  We elect those who have our interests at heart!  Whoever you choose to vote for, please make it a .  .  .  non-republican!
