I consider Babyface the “Smokey Robinson” of our time. His voice is smooth like Smokey’s, he writes megahits like Smokey, and his music makes you want to be in love like Smokey’s.

However, Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds’ career in music has proven that he can definitely hold his own. The musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer has written and produced over 26 No. 1 R&B hits throughout his career and has won 11 Grammy Awards. He started out in the eighties with the R&B group The Deele, rocking the Jheri Curls heavy! Who knew “the quiet one” would blow up to be THEEE BABYFACE?

Anyway…

I love his music. He’s not only written megahits for himself but for others from Toni Braxton to Madonna!

Babyface has well over 100 songs in his catalog as a songwriter, but my list will include my top ten favorites from the songwriting master! Did your favorite make the list?
