Meet Moziah Bridges

Moziah is a 14-year-old entrepreneur who started his own business as a bow tie creator. Mo’s Bows was established when Moziah was only 9.

I couldn’t find fun and cool bow ties, so one day I decided to use my Granny’s scrap fabric to make and sell my own. I like to wear bow ties because they make me look good and feel good. Designing a colorful bow tie is just part of my vision to make the world a fun and happier place.~Moziah

Because of his gift of hand-crafting bow ties, Moziah landed an opportunity to be featured on ABC’s Shark Tank, a show dedicated to entrepreneurs pitching their businesses/ideas to potential investors. According to The Biz Journal, didn’t get an investment when he stood before Shark Tank’s panel of five angel investors looking for financial help to grow his bow tie business. He got something much more—a mentor in Daymond John. Daymond is one of the investors on the show and the man behind the brand Fubu.

Moziah has also made history as one of Time‘s most influential teens of 2015. Check out the article here.
