Thessalonika Arzu-Embry is not the average teenaged girl. The Chicago State University Student has graduated with a 3.9 GPA in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. According to News One, the teen was home-schooled by her mother. What makes this story even more delightful? Both Thessalonika and her mom Wonder Embry were schoolmates. Ms. Embry was working on her graduate degree in Clinical Psychology.
“My college experience is a traditional college experience for me — it is just that I have completed it faster,” Thessalonika said. “I am very excited about joining others in having the opportunity to contribute to society in a significant way.”
