Leslie Jones, a regular on ‘Saturday Night Live’, and the star of the latest ‘Ghostbusters’ is just not getting love from the internet.
Not too long ago, Jones became a victim of online bullying from racist trolls, forcing the comedienne to leave her Twitter. Now, it’s been reported that her website’s been hacked.
Via NYDaily News:
Leslie Jones is the victim of a horrifying hacking incident in which someone cracked into her website and exposed what appeared to be private nude photos of the comedienne.
The heartless hacker also filled the page with images of the “Saturday Night Live” star’s driver’s license and passport, revealing her personal information.
A video of Harambe, the gorilla who was shot and killed at a Cincinnati Zoo this summer, was also posted to the top of her website.
An FBI source said the agency was “aware” of the hacking and “assessing the situation.”
The explicit and horribly racist content is the latest hate-filled attack on the 48-year-old entertainer, who was ambushed with malicious diatribe from internet trolls last month. Among the cruelest comments she received were posts comparing her to a gorilla.
The vile online bullying prompted Jones to repost a slew of the vulgar comments she received, before briefly quitting the website in response.
The sexist slurs and racist remarks were allegedly sparked by users who were knocking the African-American actress’ lead role as Patty Tolan in “Ghostbusters.” Read more here
