21-year-old Dyquain Rogers went missing in 2014, but a noise coming from an attic led his grandmother to his mummified body.
According to The Sun, 65-year-old Zanobia Richmond, heard “a bang” upstairs in her home. Upon an investigation, the badly decomposed corpse of Rogers who vanished in 2014 was discovered.
It’s reported that the cause of the noise was the body falling against the attic door.
Officials are now confident it’s Rogers who had disappeared after failing to show up to work.
Dyquain was just 21-years-old when he was last seen alive. One of his last cryptic Facebook posts develops the assumption that he was unhappy.
In October 2014 he wrote: “I have been having the worst luck lately.”
Pennsylvania police said at the time “It is one of the few cases around here that is a mystery.”
His mother, Carol Rogers, told Erie ‘s WICU 12 News: “I just kept pretending like he just left Erie, so I just kept focusing on that, that he left here, that’s what I kept saying.”
It is believed that Rogers may have committed suicide, but his family disagrees. Rogers’ aunt is reported as saying: “I don’t believe any of this stuff. I want answers.”
My thoughts: You mean to tell me that in two years, no one decided to go get the Christmas decorations?? I feel there’s more to this story. However, I pray that this helps bring mom some closure. Such a tragic situation!
