As the dragging of Chrisette Michele continues, the songstress responds to critics, including Questlove and Spike Lee, with a very lengthy poem.

Questlove tweeted that he would pay Chrisette not to perform at Trump’s Inauguration celebration. Spike Lee was gonna use Chrisette’s music for his Netflix project, ‘She’s Gotta Have It’, but said NO MA’AM once the news broke.

In Chrisette’s poem, she calls Spike “a crook from Crooklyn” and expresses that it’s “HER DAMN AMERICA”. Read the poem in its entirety in her Instagram caption.
