Kelly is headed back to Cook County Jail after he was unable to pay more than $161,000 in child support owed to his ex-wife during a hearing Wednesday.

After making his tearful and outrageous plea for his innocence regarding his sexual abuse charges with Gayle King on CBS This Morning this week, R. Kelly has been arrested again.

R. Kelly could not come up with the money so he was placed in handcuffs and led off to the Cook County Jail.

R. Kelly arrives at the Daley Center for his hearing on child support. "He's in our custody", said Sophia Ansari, a spokeswoman for the sheriff's office.

"Why would you take your daughter - if I were going to take my daughter and she's 19 years old to a 49-year-old icon whatever, celebrity, R. Kelly concert, whoever it is, I'm not going to put her on the stage and leave her".

Now that each family has been cut out, Kelly claimed, they're speaking out against him because they want money from him.

Steven Greenberg, Kelly's attorney, recently said Kelly has been struggling financially and the spent three days in jail after his arrest last month before he was able to raise the $100,000 required to secure his release on $1 million bail.

"Mr. Kelly has more than 20 people on his staff who, needless to say, are being paid", France said. Kelly swore he "didn't do this stuff" and said he's "fighting for his life".

Kelly met the then-teen in Detroit and allegedly had sex with her in a hotel here in the latest allegation, according to Detroit Police Chief James Craig.

Chris Smalling also got close to getting on the scoresheet towards the end of the first half when his header just crept wide of the post.

When the topic of age came up, he said, "I just look at legal", and that he doesn't care if the women are much younger.

Savage's lawyer on Wednesday also disputed Kelly's assertions that they had handed over or sold Jocelyn.

The singer has denied wrongdoing and pleaded not guilty. It said he had engaged in sexual, mental and physical abuse of girls and women. The couple said they have not spoken to their 23-year-old daughter for two years and asked Kelly to make her available to talk to them.

And the "Ignition" singer insisted all his accusers and their families are lying and blamed the "power" of social media for destroying his reputation.

The alleged victim, who is now 30, has claimed R. Kelly lured her to his Detroit hotel room for sex when she was just 13 years old in December 2001.

KELLY: That's stupid! Use your common sense. You killing me, man!

"I don't need to".

Tune into CBS In The Morning for part 2 of the King/Kelly interview.

In a separate interview, two women who live with Kelly - Azriel Clary and Jocelyn Savage - have rejected allegations that they are being controlled by the musician.
