Democrats are desperate to hide their own history of deception, and Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into nonexistent collusion was the ideal way to distract the American people from their poor record of pulling punches when it came to prosecuting wrongdoing within the Obama administration.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) intends to block a resolution passed in the House of Representatives demanding that special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian collusion be made public - unless the Justice Department appoints a special counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton's emails.

"I can tell you that in no way would that extramarital affair have any power in coercing me to do anything other than obeying the law and doing honest, competent investigation", Strzok said.

According to a new transcript, former Federal Bureau of Investigation legal counsel Lisa Page told lawmakers under oath a year ago that President Obama's Justice Department ordered the Federal Bureau of Investigation not to charge Hillary Clinton with gross negligence for using a private email server to send and receive classified materials.

Strzok had worked on three major investigations before his firing previous year.

Hannity asked if Collins there would be accountability for the revelations released in the transcripts.

Both Page and Strzok no longer work at the FBI - Page resigned and Strzok was sacked.

Strzok said he "very much" regretted his text exchanges with Page, who also spoke with congressional investigators in July; a transcript of those proceedings was released earlier this week. Collins said on the House floor Thursday that he meant to release additional transcripts from that GOP-led probe in the weeks ahead, in the name of transparency.

Strzok also noted he was not sure how often the FBI briefed retired personnel about closed cases - as they did in the Clinton email investigation in late October 2016.

"We were not. We did not have access", Strzok responded.

While Strzok kept the terms of the agreement, he expressed frustration with the limitations.
