Former Jags DT Malik Jackson expected to sign with Eagles on a 3-year deal

Former Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson is returning to Philadelphia as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers agreed to trade him Monday, Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo of NFL.com report.

Jackson asked to be traded last October, presumably to Philadelphia.

For those who've followed the National Football League for a while, you already know that Jackson is returning to where he started, as he was drafted by the Eagles and played for them from 2008 through 2013. He even posted a farewell to the Bucs on Instagram and Twitter despite not being traded or released by the team yet. It appears a reunion could be in store as Laine writes that the Eagles, too, have interest in their second round pick from 2008.

Jackson has $10 million headed his way in 2019, but the salary is not guaranteed.

Donald Trump's ex-campaign chairman Paul Manafort could be set to receive a decades-long prison sentence for tax and bank fraud. Manafort , his black hair gone gray, appeared in court in a green prison jumpsuit and remained seated in a wheelchair.

Jackson is coming up on the final season of a three-year deal that he signed in 2017 to come to Tampa Bay.

On paper, this move gives the Eagles a burner for quarterback Carson Wentz.

Although Jackson didn't play as well in 2018 as he did in the previous three seasons, he's still a solid presence in the middle of the defensive line and a good addition to the Eagles.

Jackson, 32, had 774 yards and four touchdowns on 41 receptions in 12 games in 2018.
