Pelicans reportedly 'most covet' potential trade packages from Celtics

New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis and agent Rich Paul made it known that Davis would like to be traded, with the Lakers being his preferred destination. The Lakers are in one of the better positions to make the deal. However, the Lakers would not send the "six to eight" draft picks that the Pelicans wanted, which is why they have made a decision to pull out of discussions.

It was reported earlier that Pelicans counter-offered Lakers for their "lowball" approach for Davis, after which the Lakers increased their offer.

Sources told The Los Angeles Times that the package includes Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart, Ivica Zubac, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, two first-round picks and an agreement to take back Solomon Hill.

The question I'd like to pose for Pelicans fans is: would you want to enter a contract year for a budding player so soon after finally putting the Anthony Davis saga behind you?

I offered up some thoughts yesterday on why Davis gave the list that he did. Irving, 26, previously said he planned to re-sign with the Celtics in the summer but has recently wavered in public on that promise.

Patients in Northwest measles outbreak traveled to Hawaii
She said the legislation would "bring a hammer down and threaten people instead of allowing them to make informed decisions". The best protection against measles is the MMR vaccine, which protects against measles, mumps, and rubella viruses.

Davis reportedly wanted to suit up after missing seven games with a finger sprain before team executives denied his efforts.

As for picks, the Celtics have their own, the Sacramento Kings' first-round selection, the Los Angeles Clippers' first-round pick, and a very intriguing future first-round pick from the Memphis Grizzlies.

That is a rather large haul for the Pelicans, who probably feel like that same deal will be available to them this summer. Even though the picks won't be high, they're still what the Pelicans asked of potential bidders.

In Morris' case, he would have to agree to sign with the Pelicans, a rebuilding team without Davis. "But the more they wanted the more it because outrageous and unrealistic". Zion Williamson is the unanimous first pick and has been for months, and he has the makings of a franchise player who would bring tremendous energy wherever he goes. It's possible the Lakers and Pelicans could resume talks. But the team chose to sit him Monday night, despite Davis "eagerly wanting to suit up", according to Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes.

Davis informed the Pelicans that he wouldn't sign a five-year, $239 million supermax contract this summer.
