Stranger Things 3 Release Date Revealed Coming July 2019

The clock to Stranger Things season 3 is officially ticking.

The show's creators, the Duffer Brothers, said they wanted to take their time "to deliver something bigger and better" than ever before.

The season's production was announced in March previous year, five months after the premiere of season two.

The tagline reads, "One summer can change everything", which sounds like a totally cliche '80s movie line-something that is very appropriate for the series.

Now we indeed have an official release date of July 4th (Independence Day), 2019.

According to the The Hollywood Reporter, Levy shared that Eleven, played by Millie Bobbie Brown; Mike, played by Finn Wolfhard; Lucas, played by Caleb McLaughlin and Max, played by Sadie Sink, would be all be enjoying coupledom.

Winona Ryder and David Harbour are also returning for season 3. Maya Thurman-Hawke also joins the cast.

Netflix released a teaser trailer showing the New Year's Eve countdown video from 1985.

The streaming service announced their hit show's third season will premiere on July 4, switching the timeline to summer instead of the fall and winter setting of the previous two seasons.

The teaser showed a clip of a New Year's Eve celebration hosted by Dick Clark, which seemed innocuous enough, though various parts of the transmission were interrupted by freaky screens of information. For example, what does 'WHEN BLUE AND YELLOW MEET IN THE WEST?' mean?
