Dershowitz: Mueller Has Found 'Almost No Crimes' From Before Russia Probe Started

Roger Stone an associate of President Donald Trump has been arrested in Florida according to special counsel Robert Mueller's office. Officials say Stone faces charges including witness tampering obstruction and false statements

Wikileaks finally released October 7 what would become the first of multiple batches of emails stolen from the Clinton campaign.

According to the indictment, "a senior Trump Campaign official was directed to contact STONE about any additional releases and what other damaging information Organization 1 had regarding the Clinton Campaign". It says Stone told campaign officials he had information indicating WikiLeaks had obtained documents damaging to Hillary Clinton's campaign.

In the indictment, United States prosecutors said Mr Stone had "sent and received numerous emails and text messages during the 2016 campaign in which he discussed Organisation 1, its head, and its possession of hacked emails".

Stone insisted that he's innocent.

He was released on a $250,000 personal surety in Fort Lauderdale.

"They're now moving on to me and my father".

The self-proclaimed dirty trickster, arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation in a raid before dawn Friday at his Florida home, blasted the prosecution as politically motivated.

The 66-year-old faces seven charges in connection with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe into alleged collusion between Russian Federation and the Trump campaign.

Netanyahu: Iran will face consequences for threatening Israel
Among the targets were munition storage facilities, an intelligence site and a military training camp, Israeli authorities said. Earlier, Syria said Israel had carried out missile strikes but its aerial defenses had thwarted them.

Following Johnson's tweet Friday, which was shared more than 14,000 times, people started making jokes online about how Stone is allegedly his neighbor. "NO COLLUSION! Border Coyotes, Drug Dealers and Human Traffickers are treated better".

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders said the Stone indictment was unrelated to the president.

It alleges that unnamed senior Trump campaign officials contacted Stone to ask when the stolen emails might be disclosed. "You got nothing. Keep running your mouth and I'll file a bar complaint against your friend [the attorney who had the ability to contact the head of Organization 1]".

"I look forward to being fully and completely vindicated", he added.

On several occasions, including in his official testimony, Stone claimed to have never communicated with a Wikileaks intermediary in writing, saying that "he's not an email guy". He was arrested Friday for lying to investigators and trying to tamper with a witness. Along the way, he helped Trump explore earlier presidential bids, starting with the 1988 race.

The case comes weeks after Trump's former national security adviser, Michael Flynn, was castigated by a judge in open court and just hours before Paul Manafort, his ex-campaign chairman, appeared on allegations that he had lied to prosecutors. They had been partners in a Republican lobbying firm formed in 1980, which came to include Lee Atwater as a senior partner of its political-functioning arm. "Time to let more than [the Clinton Campaign chairman] to be exposed as in bed w enemy if they are not ready to drop HRC".

"It is not inconceivable now that Mr Mueller and his team may seek to conjure up some extraneous crime pertaining to my business, or maybe not even pertaining to the 2016 election", Stone said. The indictment against Stone does not allege that Stone or anyone in the Trump campaign colluded with Russian Federation. After a two-year inquisition, the charges today relate in no way to Russian collusion, Wikileaks collaboration, or any other illegal act in connection with the 2016 campaign. Yet, the document outlines different occasions in which "Stone and Person 2 engaged in frequent written communication by email and text message". Stone has remained loyal, however. In it, he proclaims, "My name is Roger Stone, and I'm an agent provocateur". One pounded on the door and said, "FBI, open the door", the U.S. cable network says.

In fact, Stone's political consulting work has always been as colorfully self-promoting as it has been combative, often finding him accused of disinformation and dirty tricks, some of which he eagerly does not deny.
