Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga Surprise Las Vegas Audience With Shallow Duet

The two embraced and he followed Gaga to the piano.

The pop icon was joined onstage by her A Star is Born director and co-star Bradley Cooper for a performance of their Oscar-nominated hit Shallow. Following the performance, as each of Gaga's dancers took a bow and introduced themselves, Cooper shyly joined in and said, "Bradley, thank you", then pitched his baseball cap into the crowd. "I'd never heard her sing live before", he told Yahoo Lifestyle of the moment he knew Lady Gaga had to be part of his film.

A Star Is Born tells the tragic love story of ME, played by Cooper, who helps Gaga's struggling artist Ally.

On Basketball: Harden's run should end when he gets help
Through the month of January, Harden is averaging 45.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, 7.9 assists, 6.0 3's, 2.2 steals, and 1 .1 block. Chamberlain owns the longest streak of 30-plus point outings, a mammoth 65-game run during the 1961-62 season.

While Cooper sang, Gaga knelt beside him and put her arms on his leg. Bradley and Gaga pointed at each other, indicating their appreciation for one another's talent. Interestingly enough, though, "Shallow" for Best Original Song seems like the only locked-down category A Star Is Born has, although not a soul on this Earth could be mad if The Ballad of Buster Scrugg's snuck away with it for "When A Cowboy Trades His Spurs For Wings". Much to the crowd's delight, Bradley threw in a little air guitar as his co-star finished up the song with its famous dramatic ending.

A Star Is Born has opened up a new career path in acting for the singer, who won the Best Actress gong at the recent Critics' Choice Awards.
