Apple Inc. and Inc., two of the world's most valuable technology companies, struck a deal to get the newest iPhones into the hands of Amazon customers.

Many online platforms have resold Apple products in varying quantities and qualities, but this is the first time where Apple has reached out to Amazon to standardize its offerings.

Amazon said on Friday it would begin selling the most-recent iPhone, iPad, Mac computer, Apple Watch and Apple TV models on its website, along with branded accessories and headphones from Apple's Beats subsidiary.

It's not clear when exactly Apple's new products will arrive on Amazon, but we can expect them to become available in the "coming weeks".

'We look forward to expanding our assortment of Apple and Beats products globally'. It will also list products from some approved Apple resellers. Independent sellers with Apple inventory will have their listings removed after January 4, 2019.

Apple did not immediately respond to Business Insider's request for comment.

Jeff Sessions Out as Attorney General

Prior to the agreement, just a limited selection of Apple devices were available directly through Amazon.

Sometimes it uses that power against its biggest competitors.

But this deal does not include all the products from Apple and an example of one such device would be the Apple HomePod. Amazon has blocked the sale of Google devices like the Chromecast that compete with its own smart speakers and streaming devices.

The latest change won't put AceBeach out of business, since it had already started phasing out Apple sales.
