Thirteen-year-old Jayme Closs has been missing since Monday, when an emergency call led authorities to their rural home in the Midwestern state. Jayme, who isn't a suspect in the killings, was missing.

There's been no sign of the 13-year-old girl since her parents were found murdered in their home a week ago.

One vehicle is believed to be a red or orange 2008 to 2014 Dodge Challenger. "Again we are only taking tips based on the below information, no other makes or models will be followed up on". Another vehicle - either a Black Ford Edge, made between 2006 and 2010, or a Black Acura MDX made between 2004 to 2010 - is also of interest.

Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald has asked for 2,000 volunteers to help search for evidence on Tuesday, Oct. 23.

A U.S. teenager missing since the shooting deaths of her parents on Monday was extremely close to her mother, with friends and relatives telling PEOPLE the two were "almost inseparable". Those aboard were also looking for "anything of interest", the sheriff said. He did not release license plate numbers or say how the vehicles might be tied to the case.

James Closs, 56, and Denise Closs, 46, died of gunshot wounds at their home October 15 at 1268 Highway 8, west of Barron, and Fitzgerald has ruled it a homicide. He said when the deputies arrived at the house, James was found dead at the door.

Authorities on Monday called for 2,000 volunteers to help in a ground search for clues in the disappearance of a Wisconsin girl whose parents were gunned down in their home last week. Fitzgerald said more people are needed to help search a bigger area.

Anyone who sees Jayme or anything suspicious is asked to call 911 or the Barron County Sheriff's Office at 715-537-3106. People should continue to follow the Barron County Sheriff's Department Facebook page for updates.

"I guess I'm not doing anything different than I would hope someone would do if it was one of my loved ones in this situation right now", said Robinson, 48. Descriptions and photos of the vehicles were added to an Amber Alert for Jayme. He declined to comment on why authorities have expanded the ground search.

Closs disappeared after police received a 911 call from a cellphone inside her home at around 1am Monday (2pm Singapore time). A search involving 100 volunteers combed the area near the family's home on Thursday but found nothing.
