Today, United are closing in on Tottenham star Toby Alderweireld....

According to a report in the Mirror, Alderweireld will be joining United for £60m.

Everton are reportedly nearing the signing of Barcelona's Yerry Mina.

Marco Silva's side have been frustrated over the way they have been dealt with in the negotiating process, feeling that they were used and then discarded when United's interest emerged.

And this development has led to United calling off their pursuit of Mina and turning their attention back towards Alderweireld.

However, The Sun are reporting that Mina's agent, Felipe Russo, has scuppered the proposed move to United by altering the terms of the deal.

Health department says mosquitoes with West Nile virus found in Kentucky
While doctors may prescribe painkillers, no vaccine has yet been discovered to treat the infection. West Nile virus, spread by the bite of an infected mosquito, can affect a person's nervous system.

Leicester City's Harry Maguire and Tottenham's Toby Alderweireld are believed to be their primary targets, but Manchester United are unsure of getting deals done for either in time.

Everton completed the signing of Digne, a 25-year-old French left-back who has previously played Lille, Paris Saint-Germain and Roma, for close to £18 million pound last week.

Toby Alderweireld had an incredible World Cup where he played a key role in helping Belgium finish third.

Victor Lindelof struggled to settle during his first season in England, while stand-out central defender Eric Bailly struggled with injury for large parts of the campaign.

Dembele was one of the most consistent midfielders in the Premier League last season, with no player able to replicate his impressive defensive skills and driving attacking runs.

The Red Devils are thought to be in the market to sign a new centre-half in the summer transfer window to improve Jose Mourinho's team.
