Zsa Zsa, the 'World's Ugliest Dog,' dies

With her crooked underbite and lolling tongue, Zsa Zsa quickly warmed the hearts of the world.

"I'm in shock still", Brainard told CNN sister network HLN.

Zsa Zsa is survived by two brothers, a Frenchie and a pug.

She won the 30th annual contest in the San Francisco Bay Area on June 23.

According to the Facebook page created for the canine celebrity from Anoka, Minnesota, Zsa Zsa passed away in her sleep overnight.

However, Zsa Zsa spent over half of her life in a puppy mill before she was rescued by a non-profit organisation and adopted by Ms Brainard. "It's probably going to be the same with her passing". She said her family held a small memorial for the pooch, known to love Slim Jims and burritos from the Mexican fast-food chain Chipotle. Her owner was awarded $1,500 for Zsa Zsa's win.

Trump’s Mar-a-Lago wants to hire dozens of foreign workers
This request comes just over a year after Trump signed his " Buy American and Hire American " executive order. The President's infamous golf resort, Mar-a-Lago, recently filed requests to hire 61 foreign workers.

Recent updates from Brainard have shown Zsa Zsa being doted on by children - who also took on the job of brushing the dog's jutting teeth. It was attended by Brainard, her husband and their one-year-old daughter, Mareslie. We were all saying our goodbyes and [our 15-month-old daughter] Mareslie went right over and gave her a kiss.

Brainard named the sweet, lovable pup after the Hollywood legend Zsa Zsa Gabor, because the pretty pooch enjoyed lounging on the couch "like a handsome model".

She seemed to relish the victory.

"She knew she was special". "We take millions of pictures in my family, so now we have her face everywhere to remind us of her", Brainard told Today.

The contest sounds more negative than it is - its objective is to raise awareness of pet adoption and to show that all dogs are lovely in their own way, and worthy of love.
