North Korea has reportedly increased nuclear production since summit contradicting President Trump's claims

USA intelligence agencies believe North Korea has increased production of fuel for nuclear weapons at multiple secret sites in recent months and may try to hide these while seeking concessions in nuclear talks with the United States, NBC News quoted US officials as saying on Friday.

National security advisor John Bolton claimed on Sunday that the Trump administration has a plan to denuclearize North Korea which would only take one year.

United States Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) mocked President Donald Trump on social media Saturday morning, sarcastically saying that reports of North Korea continuing to expand its nuclear program just weeks after a summit between the two countries could not possibly be true.

Bolton told CBS News that if Pyongyang has already made the "strategic decision" to end its weapons development program and "they're cooperative, we can move very quickly. We can get, physically, we would be able to dismantle the overwhelming bulk of their programs within a year".

While North Korea made a public show in June of demolishing the country's main nuclear weapons test site, there has been little public evidence of efforts to dismantle scores of other sites linked to production of nuclear and chemical weapons and delivery systems.

On Jun 22, Trump extended sanctions against North Korea, stating in an executive order that Pyongyang's nuclear weapons "continue to pose an unusual and extraordinary threat to the national security, foreign policy, and economy of the United States".

Even if North Korea is willing to cooperate, dismantling its secretive weapons of mass destruction programs, believed to encompass dozens of sites, will be tough. And by the way I really believe North Korea has a tremendous future.
