ABC canceled "Roseanne" after Barr, a Trump supporter and the show's main star, made a racist reference to former Obama administration adviser Valerie Jarrett on Twitter.

U.S. President Donald Trump demanded an apology from Walt Disney Co.

Instead of severing ties with Barr, he went after Iger on Twitter for his apology to Jarrett.

"I had a feeling this was going to happen when I first heard it was coming back", Arnold, who was one of the writers of the original 1988 Roseanne series said before theorizing that Barr's support for President Trump's ideologies aided in her show's demise.

"I wasn't gonna get an Emmy anyway", Goodman smiled.

She wrote on the micro-blogging website: "I just wish ABC had not thrown two of the greatest actors in the world out with me-Laurie and John".

"Of course he should condemn it", Kasich said in an interview on CNN Thursday.

Choosing to cancel a profitable show over racist rhetoric can speak to the tide of America, while also leaving some to question if Barr's tweets have permanently hindered her career. How is Brian Ross doing? Any criticism from ABC is the definition of freedom of speech - whether it's Jimmy Kimmel railing on the president or ABC News calling out a lie - those people are protected.

Ross later admitted Trump had directed his former national security adviser Flynn to make contact after he won the election, a major adjustment to the story that seemed to suggest a smoking gun connection between Trump's campaign and Russian Federation.

Trump, it seemed, was one of those viewers.

"The saddest part of all is for Jayden Rey on the show whom I grew to love so much & am so ashamed of myself that she would ever think I do not love her because she is African American".

Roseanne Barr has made a decision to stay on Twitter after all.

Barr attacked her castmates on Wednesday, accusing them of throwing her "under the bus", but she was in a more forgiving mood as she returned to social media to address the fall-out following the drama. He said he "knew it would not end well". She has since said that she took sleeping tablets before sending the tweet and that they were the reason for her freakish behaviour.

"I'm exhausted of being smeared over a stupid mistake erasing 30 years of activism", she said in one. That plan was never carried out.
