Curry breaks record, Warriors blast Cavs

2018 NBA Finals – Game One

Curry eclipsed former NBA sharpshooter Ray Allen for most 3-pointers in an NBA Finals game after he made eight in Game 2 of the 2010 NBA Finals against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Curry hit five 3s in the fourth quarter as the Warriors turned it into a romp after the Cavaliers were within seven points early in the period.

It involves appreciating the circumstances that led to a 2-0 series lead entering Game 3 on Wednesday in Cleveland.

Before the game, Warriors coach Steve Kerr refused to reveal his revised strategy following James' 51-point Game 1 assault that almost stole home-court advantage for the Cavaliers, but it didn't take a Rhodes Scholar to figure it out.

A similar situation occurred in the summer of 2016, when sportsbooks saw big bets (including one $20,000 wager) show up on Golden State before news broke that Kevin Durant had chose to leave Oklahoma City and join the Warriors.

After a first game with some hotly debated calls, the officiating was under great scrutiny on Sunday evening. James is working twice as hard, playing 48 minutes in each of the previous two games.

"Klay will warm up and we'll see", Kerr said.

"The eye has looked a lot better", James said.

Good things also happened to Durant, who had 26 points while shooting 10-of-14 from the field and 2-of-3 from 3-point range, nine rebounds and seven assists. Mere mortal LeBron, the guy we saw Sunday night in Game 2, has to worry about a sweep.

Roseanne Barr blasts ABC, co-stars for cancelling show in Twitter tirade
Here, Barr is pictured attending the premiere of ABC's " Roseanne " at Walt Disney Studio Lot on March 23, in Burbank, California. She said of the Jarrett tweet , "It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting".

"Every shot that he takes that goes in, he has the business of making them". After holding a 19-4 edge on the offensive glass in Game 1, the Cavs were 15-7 on Sunday.

The Warriors and Cavaliers are underway in Game 2 of the NBA Finals, a game that's gone Golden State's way in a huge manner the last two years. In a different text message on Sunday, though, Thompson insisted to Green that "I'm good".

Coach Steve Kerr remains optimistic the 2015 Finals MVP will play at some point in the series.

His reaction in the final seconds of an overtime loss to Golden State demonstrated the frustration Thompson and all the Cavaliers felt about a game they were close to winning in regulation.

The Warriors PR account on Twitter also confirmed that Andre Iguodala will not play, due to a "left lateral leg contusion/bone bruise". Curry, who has a history of ankle injuries, chipped in with his own thoughts: "You should have asked me", he noted.

The Cavaliers All-Star says the Warriors have "had a two-time MVP sit out playoff games and they've won". It's only natural for him to get worn out, to defer to his teammates with the desperate hope that this time they might actually do their jobs.

Smith was involved in another moment during the contest that took center stage as he slipped on the floor and undercut Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson, undercutting him and injuring his ankle. "But as far as working harder, I think I got exhausted once".

"He has gotten better gradually, but there's no way of knowing for sure at this point", Kerr said.
