(I'm looking at you, Kanye.) Now, it's South Korean president Moon Jae-in who's lauding the American president, saying Trump should win a Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts to end North Korea's nuclear weapons program. Yep.

Mr Trump will have noted with interest Kim's meeting with South Korean President Moon Jae-in at the same venue last week.

Moon responded to the suggestion that he be give the Nobel by saying, "President Trump can take the Nobel prize".

His planned meeting with Kim will be the crucial follow-up to the summit between Kim and Moon on Friday where they pledged to seek a formal end this year to the Korean War - a conflict that was halted in 1953 by an armistice and not a peace treaty, leaving the two sides technically at war. "What we need is only peace".

United States and North Korean officials are still negotiating the timing and location of the possible summit.

Trump continued to play an active role on Monday, floating the possibility of holding his expected summit with Kim at the same location. Carranza Ko said although this is positive, she still believes North Korea won't give up its nuclear capabilities.

A meeting between Trump and Kim is now being planned, although the US President has said he is wary about North Korea's approach.

Trump said a number of other countries were also being considered, including Singapore.

President Donald Trump waves as walks from Marine One on the South Lawn of the White House in Washington, Thursday, April 5, 2018, after returning from a trip to West Virginia.

"I don't ask Donald Trump for anything, I like Donald Trump, he's a good friend and I've always asked him to talk to me because the people of North Korea and the government over there asked me to talk to Donald Trump about what they want and how we can solve things", Rodman told TMZ.

Trump loved the images from the inter-Korean summit and the fact the entire meeting was televised, those sources said.

In January, Moon said Trump "deserves big credit for bringing about the inter-Korean talks". If Moon has to earn a Nobel Prize in flattery to achieve this goal, so be it.

Trump stated his preference for the demilitarized zone, commonly referred to as the DMZ or Truce Village, telling reporters, "There's something that I like about it because you're there, you're actually there, where if things work out, there's a great celebration to be had on the site, not in a third-party country". "And maybe it won't", Trump said last week about his upcoming talks.

Trump has accepted an invitation for a meeting with Kim.

Trump's supporters erupted in chants of "Nobel, Nobel, Nobel" at a rally in MI as he lashed out at news organizations, which he said were not giving him sufficient credit for bringing Kim to the negotiating table.
