Trump admits debt to Cohen for Stormy Daniels payoff

The official said they leaked the documents because two suspicious-activity reports detailing Cohen's financial activities were missing from a government database

The official said they leaked the documents because two suspicious-activity reports detailing Cohen's financial activities were missing from a government database

The disclosure came as part of the president's annual financial report made Tuesday to the Office of Government Ethics, who reviewed and publicly released the file on Wednesday. Dave Apol comes through in the end!

Mr Trump's latest disclosure filing said Mr Cohen incurred the expense in 2016 and that Mr Cohen "sought reimbursement" in 2017.

Trump's income from the Trump International Hotel in Washington, which has come under scrutiny for being a top choice for foreign dignitaries, almost doubled, from about $20 million in the 2016 report to just over $40 million a year ago.

President Trump should have dislosed Michael Cohen's payment to Stormy Daniels in his financial disclosure report previous year.

In addition, the Office of Government Ethics released a letter to Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein saying that it had concluded that Trump was required to disclose this liability owed to Cohen.

Daniels has alleged she had a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006, a claim he denies. The payment to Daniels was made via a limited-liability company, Essential Consultants, which Cohen had set up in 2016.

But acting OGE director David Apol said that based on the information Trump included in his financial disclosure, the payment to Cohen was "required to be reported as a liability".

Cohen works as a personal lawyer for president Donald Trump. The missing reports supposedly revealed that Cohen received more than $3million in an account linked to a shell company he created before the presidential election

The Intercept reported the request as confirmed by Ahmed Al-Rumaihi, who was an investor with the nation's sovereign wealth fund. Al-Ruhmaihi said Cohen asked him for the money, but he never agreed to make the payment. The category of the value would be $100,001 - $250,000 and the interest rate would be zero. However, the president's narrative was contradicted by newly on-boarded attorney Rudy Giuliani. Cohen's payment, and the nondisclosure agreement that went along with it, has created a cyclone of chaos and controversy for the president's attorney and the White House.

Al-Rumaihi told Cohen that Qatar expected to invest in Trump plans to solicit investment in a USA infrastructure program, the Post reported.

In April, the FBI raided Cohen's offices and home as part of a criminal investigation, drawing Trump's ire.

The payments have raised a number questions of ethics and campaign finance law: whether Cohen improperly combined his personal money with those of a client and whether the payment constituted a loan or contribution to Trump's campaign. The report shows he took in $75 million from his Miami golf course and resort a year ago, $25 million at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida and $15 million from his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey.

When Trump took office, he refused to fully divest from his global business, another break with presidential tradition.

Instead, he put his assets in a trust controlled by his two adult sons and a senior executive. Still, Trump can take back control of the trust at any time and he's allowed to withdraw cash from it as he pleases.

Bethesda Releases Official Trailer For Rage 2 - Will It Be In VR?
After Rage's story was criticised, we hope that the developers will try to improve it rather than eradicate it for the sequel. However, there looks to be a clip in today's trailer that sees the player inside his auto with a first-person perspective.
