Ambien Maker Sanofi to Roseanne Barr: No, Our Sleeping Pill Doesn't Cause Racism

In a video obtained by Entertainment Tonight, Goodman, whose character is the husband of Barr's Roseanne, steered clear of commenting on Barr's racist tweet or ABC's decision to cancel the show, which was just starting preparations for Season 2.

"There was only thing to do here", Iger wrote, "and that was the right thing".

After a few tweets that said that Chelsea Clinton was married to a member of George Soros's family (she is not), Barr compared Valerie Jarrett, an African American advisor to the Obama Administration, to Planet of the Apes. "I made a mistake I wish I hadn't but...don't defend it please".

But not everyone turned their back on the beleaguered comedian after her self-inflicted public relations nightmare (although Barr blames sleeping pills).

This last tweet she noticed seems to suggest that the Obama couple may have something to do with the cancelation of Roseanne because she mocked their Netflix deal before. While asking not to be defended, she retweeted comments from supporters that attacked ABC and complained that conservatives are tweeted more harshly than liberals for their behavior.

"This is incredibly sad and hard for all of us, as we've created a show that we believe in, are proud of, and that audiences love- one that is separate and apart from the opinions and words of one cast member", she said.

Jarrett was one of the targets of Barr's Twitter tirade early Tuesday morning.

USA stocks fell 0.2 percent on Friday after oil tanked the most in 11 months on concerns over more supply from OPEC. And in turn, the White House has been making preparations through multiple tracks of dialogue.

The drug maker Sanofi took to social media to say that "while all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication".

Roseanne has also claimed that being called a racist is much more hurtful than having her show cancelled by ABC.

Furthermore, Zimmerman said "You would think, her kids, somebody" would be able to rein in her ongoing barrage of tweets. Responding to Fishman's statement on Wednesday, Barr tweeted, "I created the platform for that inclusivity and you know it. ME".

Sara Gilbert, who played Barr's daughter in Roseanne, said her co-star's comments were "abhorrent". "Today my words caused hundreds of hardworking people to lose their jobs", Barr wrote in a tweet, one in a series of posts Tuesday night.

Arnold was informed that Barr refused to give up her phone, so he says he made a different suggestion: He tried drafting her a statement that would tell fans she was going to spend less time on Twitter.

Although President Trump didn't explicitly come to Barr's defense, he did imply ABC was guilty of hypocrisy.
