After the initial wave this morning, chances this afternoon and evening aren't zero, but we expect any activity that develops later today to be fairly isolated. While the tornado threat diminishes through the late evening hours Tuesday, damaging hail and strong winds will continue with storms through the overnight hours from northeastern Kansas through the mid-Missouri Valley.

"Severe thunderstorms are likely across a large part of the southern and central Plains Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning, with a few tornadoes, damaging winds, and large hail", notes the agency in a forecast discussion.

Round #3: This will be nearly a repeat of Wednesday night's round, with round of thunderstorms producing heavy rainfall, and could bring severe weather in the form of damaging winds and large hail.

It's important that if a tornado warning is issued you need to take immediate action in a sturdy building in the lowest floor.

Forecasters say the greatest threat will be along and north of Interstate 44.

Sunday: Increasing clouds and some late day storms, highs in the low 70s. Some of the storms could be severe.

Flash flood watches are also in effect for areas of central Kansas with heavy rains expected from the storms. The strongest storms within this line of storms will be capable of strong wind gusts and hail.

Once this round exits there will likely be a lull in the storms in the afternoon.

Friday night, the low will be around 54 with mostly clear skies and a north wind of 6 miles per hour becoming calm in the evening, according to the weather service.

Lightning kicked area firefighters into action in the rain to battle fires.

Saturday, the high will be near 82 with sunny skies, the weather service said. Heavy rain is expected to fall on Chicagoland through early Friday, with the most severe weather hitting the western suburbs, said the weather service.

Early in the trailer he exacts some revenge on a bad guy in a vehicle crash scene filmed at Forsyth and Marietta streets downtown. But it's a lot of fun, with Paul Rudd back as Scott Lang and Evangeline Lilly getting joint-billing as Hope Pym, aka the Wasp.
