A new featurette of "Solo: A Star Wars Story" has been released online, and the video gives the fans a better look at the evolution of Han (Alden Ehrenreich) into the character that everyone knows and loves. More Donald Glover as Lando, most importantly.

Ahead of its release in under one month's time, and its big world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in just a couple of weeks, Lucasfilm has delivered a new TV spot and featurette for Solo: A Star Wars Story.

We've been slightly sceptical about the upcoming Solo: A Star Wars story until now, mostly because we're pretty anxious about what we think is an unnecessary origin story for one of our favourite movie characters of all time. "Everyone is struggling to survive".

He promises that the movie will show the Star Wars universe cast in a light we have not seen it before. However, we have seen the Empire impose its control in the animated television show Star Wars Rebels. You can see the video below. Han is a young man living in a world where everyone is oppressed and subjugated by the Empire. The featurette is loaded with new information about the upcoming film including how Chewbacca gets his nickname from Han Solo.

HMD Global is all set to launch another Nokia series phone, it seems, and this one looks like it will embrace that "notch". Other than that, reports expect a 3.5 mm jack, 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, GLONASS and a USB Type C port.

The spinoff will chronicle Solo's budding friendship with Chewbacca and Lando, while also seeing how Han becomes Han.

Of course, the film will cover Han's first encounters with Chewie and the iconic Millennium Falcon.

Directed by Ron Howard from a script written by Lawrence Kasdan and son Jon Kasdan, the film stars Alden Ehrenreich, Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke, Donald Glover, Thandie Newton, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Joonas Suotamo, Paul Bettany and Ian Kenny. In addition, filmmaker Rian Johnson (Star Wars: The Last Jedi) is developing an entirely new trilogy of Star Wars films, and Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are also working on new films for the franchise.
